Mayford C. Tipton Sr. (83) passed away Tuesday, August 9th, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Henderson and Martha Cathryn Tipton. Survived by his children, Shelia R. (David) Gibbs, John (Janet) Tipton, M. C. "Skeeter" Tipton Jr., David L. (Donna) Tipton, and James M. (Tracy) Tipton; grandchildren, Charles "Chuck" Tipton, Alonda Pollins, Angela Thomas, Chad Tipton, Jessi Sturdivant, Cody Tipton, Steven Tipton, and Stacy Tipton; as well as numerous great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
