Mayford Stinnett age 79 of Tallassee passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was an avid Harley rider. Preceded in death by: Parents, Howard & Sarah Stinnett; Sister, Helen Cline; Brothers, Gene, Marvin, & Ted Stinnett. Survivors include: Sons, Arnold Stinnett and Rick Stinnett & wife Melody; Daughter & Son-in-law, Connie & Don Perkins; Grandchildren, Jennifer Russell, Daniel Perkins, Garrett Stinnett, Lindsie Gribble, and Corie Beth Lockett; Great-Granddaughter, Ella Russell; Brother, Jack Stinnett; Sister, Linda Hutsell; Special friend, Shirley Harbison. Funeral service will be at 6:30 PM, Friday, October 31, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Fred Bolden officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Clark's Grove Cemetery.
