Matthew Ryan Sherwood age 28 answered his call to be with the Lord this day on January 28, 2017. Matthew is now with his brothers, Daniel and Adam, where they greet him at heavens door with open arms. Though it sadden our hearts and knowing he will be greatly missed. We rejoice that he is with his family and knowing that we will join them all one day to be with our Lord and Savior. “Fly High Forever Batman” Preceded in death by: Great-Grandparents, Kelcie & Marie Young; Grandparents, Bill (red) Franklin and Paul P. Dotson Sr.; brothers, Daniel McCarter and Adam Sherwood; Girlfriend, Brianna Allard; Uncle, Mike Young. Survivors include: Parents, Pat & Kathy Dotson; Grandmother, Mary Patterson; Mom #2, Robin Edington; Brothers, Jason & Brittany Sherwood and Micah Sherwood; Sisters, Jessica, Brittany, Allison, Nicole; Special Niece, Destini Sherwood; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; Special friend, Teesha Watkins; many special friends and loved ones. A memorial fund is setup at Suntrust Bank in Maryville. Friends may call at their convenience from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Friday, February 3, 2017 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM with Toby Downey officiating.
