Matthew Edward Burchfield

Matthew Edward Burchfield age 24 of Sweetwater passed away, Sunday June 5, 2011. He attended William Blount High School and was formerly an employee of Zaxby’s, Thunderworld, and Law’s Brickmill Market. Matthew was a jr. volunteer at U.T Hospital. He enjoyed basketball, football, the junior bowling league, and especially the lake where he loved wake boarding and fishing. Matthew had a great love for his family and his contagious smile will be missed. Survivors include; mother and step-father, Stacy and Tommy Pinson, father and step-mother, Eddie and Donna Burchfield; sisters, Jennifer Louise Burchfield Rodgers and husband, Steve, and Rebecca Ann Burchfield; siblings, Joseph Monhollen, Charlie, Emily, Abby, and Daniel Pinson; grandmother, Gerry Smith; grandfather, Arvine Smith and wife, Katherine; nieces and nephews, Bryar Cade Rodgers, Malachi Ray Frye, Sara Isabella Rodgers, Connor James Burchfield; special friend, Ashley Carter. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Smithview Pavilion with Rev. Joe Farmer officiating.
