Mathilde A. Sizemore

Mathilde Anna Sizemore (Hilde, Tillie) born November 28th, 1934 died December 25th at UT Medical Center after a sudden illness. Hilde met her husband of 48 years, Charles Martin Sizemore, during his tour in the army and they were married on August 11th, 1959 in Karlsruhe, Germany, where she was born and raised. The majority of their life was spent in Illinois where they worked for Arnolds Engineering Company. Hilde retired after 30 years where she and Charles took up residence in Maryville Tennessee. Hilde lived her life as a hard working, untiring, no nonsense lady with a heart and spirit that would help anyone in need. She spent her retirement enjoying her collectibles, growing her flowers, and loving her husband and family. Hilde was a breast cancer survivor and in lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Breast Cancer Society. Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
