Mary Ellen Terry

Mary Ellen Terry, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022. She was born on July 8^th, 1955 in Blount County. She was a member of Hillview Missionary Baptist Church. She was nurse at Colonial Hills nursing home, a loving wife, mother, and a friend to so many. She was preceded in death by mother and father Hansel and Mary Whaley, mother-in-law and father-in-law Amos and Rhonda Terry, and brother Jim Whaley. She is survived by husband Steve Terry, son and daughter in law, Chris and Lisa Terry, and son Shaun Terry. Grandkids Trevor(Miranda), Travis(Alex), Meagan and Lexi and great grandsons Gabe and Witten. Her brother Ken and Mary Whaley, sister-in-law Barbara Whaley, sister Faye Wilholte, and many nieces and nephews, and others she looked at as her own. The family and friends will gather for a visitation Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the Trinity Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00pm officiated by Rev. John Whitehead and Rev. Rick Morgan.
