Mary K. Roberts

Mary K. Roberts, age 76 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the family home.  Mary was a graduate of Lanier High School class of 1966 and attended Knoxville Business College.  She retired from AT&T in 2009 after 39 years of dedicated service and was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church.  Mary loved raising her two sons and attending their sporting events.  She enjoyed volunteering at East Tennessee Children's Hospital and with the Bluebirds cancer Retreat.  Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Press and Ruth Kerr and her son, Jeffrey Roberts.  She is survived by her husband, Tony Roberts; son, Jason Huskey of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Tyler and Morgan Huskey and Marcus Roberts; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Deborah Kerr of Highpoint, NC; sister-in-law, Sara Lawson of Maryville; niece and nephew, Amanda and Scott Kerr; The family and friends will assemble at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 05, 2024 at Grandview Cemetery for the graveside service and interment.  Friends may call at their convenience to sign the register.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Mary’s name to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, 2018 W, Clinch Ave, Knoxville, TN 37916 or online @ https://www.etch.com.
