Mary Kathleen Kelley

Kelley, Kathleen (Mary Jane), age 82 of Alcoa, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2007. She was born in Tremont on January 24, 1925 to the late Robert & Mintha Stinnett. She always considered the Smoky Mountains her home. She was the loving mother of 3 children, grandmother of 5 grandchildren, and great-grandmother of 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: Husband of 60 years, Rev. Max L. Kelley; Parents, Bob & Mintha Stinnett; Sister, Mabel Dunn; Brothers, Arlie, Carl, & Jack Stinnett. She is survived by: Daughters and Son-in-law, Sue & Jim Barker of Rockford, Edna & Dennis Harmon of Louisville; Son and Daughter-in-law, Leon & Retha Kelley of Maryville; Grandchildren, Brian Nix, Dexter Kelley, Angela Woods, Krista Cooper, Teresa Cooper; Great-Grandchildren, Joshua Anderson, Daniel Kelley, Kyra Huskey, Spencer Barker, Sierra Kelley. Special friends, AD Long and Zella Adkins. She was a wonderful, caring, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family who love and will greatly miss her. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery for the graveside service and interment with Rev. Bobby Nuchol officiating.
