Mary Kathleen Farmer

M. Kathleen Farmer age 84 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a founding member of Morning Star Baptist Church, an avid deer hunter & nature lover, and was employed with Blount Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. Preceded in death by: Husband, Henry David Farmer. Survivors include: Sons & Daughters-in-law, David & Verna Farmer of Tallassee, FL and Gary & Teresa Farmer of Maryville; Daughter & Son-in-law, Henrietta & Tony Jenkins of Powell; Grandchildren, Stacey & Husband Eddie Helton, Amy & husband Tony Williams, Brad & Matthew Farmer, and Tony Farmer; Four Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Myrna Hurst, Thelma Darnell and Claudette Barnes; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Friday, April 16, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Brian Fields officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Grandview Cemetery.
