Mary Ann Burchfield

Mary Ann Burchfield, age 85, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Asbury Place. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, she taught in Knoxville and Blount County School systems for 37 years after graduating from The University of Tennessee. She was an avid Lady Vols fan and loved her cats. She was preceded by her parents, Luther & Ruby Burchfield; sister, Bernice Sue Burchfield. She is survived by her brothers, Theron Burchfield and Richard Burchfield; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara & Bill Campbell and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4th, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Maryville First United Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Catherine Nance officiating. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service at 3:45 PM at Grandview Cemetery.
