Marvin E. "Crow"Renfro, age 82 of Maryville, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Peck's Memorial United Methodist Church and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. after 31 years of service. Mr. Renfro enjoyed the outdoors, loving to fish, hunt and enjoyed all sports. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Renfro; daughter, Alice Sue Renfro; brother, Shirley Renfro; and sisters, Alice Hicks and Libby Graham. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Wilma Renfro; sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin Edwin and Leah Renfro of Texas, and Joseph Allen and Brandy Renfro of Maryville; grandchildren, John, Phillip, Matthew, Jacob, Luke, and Kimberly Renfro; step-grandson, Jole Payne; great grandchildren, Landon and Andrew Renfro; brothers and sister-in-law, Jack and Delores Renfro, and Larry Renfro, all of Maryville; sisters, Wilma Mizell and Bonnie Marriman both of Maryville; special friends, Reed and Pat Graham, and Ronnie and Janice Hatcher. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2009 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Tony Brown and Rev. John Tierbauch officiating. Entombment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the Grandview Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 30, 2009 in the Smith Trinity Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service.
