Marvin Eugene Nichols

Marvin Eugene Nichols, age 70 of Maryville, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior, September 1, 2017 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Marvin was born on July 4, 1947 in Maryville, TN. He graduated from Friendsville High School in 1965 and was a member of Broadway Baptist Church for many years serving as a Sunday school teacher and deacon. He retired from Lowes home improvement store. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Faye Nichols. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Sue Nichols; adopted daughter, Heather Drew; brothers, Charles R. Nichols and Bobbi L., Leo Nichols; sisters-in-law Benny Miller, Saundra and Ed Rupp, brother-in-law Jonny Griffin and Vickie; several nieces and nephews, many friends, and his furry friend, “Miss Molly.” In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Broadway Baptist Church Building Fund, 2329 E Broadway Avenue, Maryville, TN 37804. Family and friends will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Broadway Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 7:00 pm with Rev. Tony Collins and Rev. Charles Roy Murrell officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Grandview Cemetery for interment service.
