Marvin (Gene) King

Marvin Eugene (Gene) King Jr. beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away at the age of 83 on October 1, 2013. Gene, a Maryville High School and University of Tennessee graduate began his lifelong career as an accountant with Ernst & Ernst before opening his own firm, King & King, with his brother Harold. In 1952 Gene married his wife of 61 years, Mary Anna Wilson. He was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and Iva Moore Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by: Sisters, Francis Cofer and Carolyn Turner; Brothers, Don, Harold, Jerry, and Rodney. Gene is survived by: Wife, Mary Anna King; Daughters, Kim (Chris) Campbell, Karen King, Kathy Durant; Brother, Raymond (Sandra) King; Grandchildren, Chrisser Campbell, Jessica (Tucker) Giles, Jacob & Eli Durant; Great-Granddaughter, Maybree Ann Giles. Memorial service will be at 6:30 PM, Friday, October 4, 2013 at Broadway United Methodist Church. Memorial donation may be made to: Broadway United Methodist Church, 309 E.
