Marvin Gene Goins

Marvin Gene Goins, age 85 of Louisville passed peacefully in the presence of family and friends at his home on Friday, May 25, 2018. He was retired manager at University of Tennessee Mail and was a life-long Vol fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mayme Goins; sister, Maxine French; brother, Melvin Goins; sister-in-law, Sue Gates. He is survived by his wife, Mae Lou Goins; daughter, Angie Goins; grandchild, Charity Faith Tucker; brother, Bob Goins and his wife Susie; sister, Eddie Hicks and her husband Ray; special sister-in-law, Lavern Ogle. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Smith Trinity Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM.
