Martha E. Buchanan

Buchanan, Martha age 76 of Lenoir City passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Lenoir City and a former member of Grey Ridge Baptist Church. She retired from the University of Tennessee Medical Center working in the nursing profession. She was preceded in death by her father, Perry Cable; mother & step-father, Mamie & Jesse Tallent; brothers, Hubert, Wayman & Delmar Williams and Barney Cable. Survivors include her son, Roger Buchanan of Maryville; daughters & sons-in-law, Janice & Michael Herron of Maryville, Christy & James McGill of Lenoir City; 3 grandchildren, Derek Simonds, Michelle & Doug Mahan, Kaney Buchanan; 4 great-grandchildren, Justin, Kaylee, Victoria & Joey; sister, Opal Summitt of Indiana; many nieces & nephews. Funeral service 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2006 , Trinity Chapel Smith Mortuary with Rev. Eddie Chasteen & Rev. Billy Carrigan officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2006 at Grandview Mausoleum for the entombment.
