Martha B. Anderson

Martha Brown Anderson age 91 of Friendsville passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Martha was born June 8, 1916 to William Lawrence Brock and Callie Sue Cantrell of McMinn County, Tennessee. She was one of nine children. Preceded in death by: Husbands, William Powell Brown and Luther Anderson. Martha is survived by: Children, Mary Helen Carnes of Maryville and Roger Dale Brown of Kansas City, Missouri; Sister, Pat Rutherford of Calhoun, GA; Grandsons, James Daniel Carnes of Farragut and Randall Scott Carnes & wife Angie of Maryville; Great-Granddaughter, Bethany Carnes of Maryville; several nieces and nephews in East Tennessee; Special caregivers, Linda Butler and Jim Butler and special neighbors, Fred & Betty Hicks. Mother will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and hospitality. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
