Mark Stanley Whitehead

Whitehead, Mark Stanley age 73 of Sweetwater, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Sweetwater Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Red Top Church in Happy Valley. Preceded in death by: Parents, Sherman D. & Alice Marie Whitehead; Brother, Dewey Whitehead; Sister, Lois Marine. Survivors include: Wife of 27 years, Grace June Whitehead; Son, Mark Whitehead of Madisonville; Daughters, Laura Jenkins of Cold Springs, Genia Miller of Maryville and Lola Hanes of Madisonville; Eleven Grandchildren; Five Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Lester R. Whitehead of GA. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, July 27, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Robert Lee Whitehead and Rev. Ronald Whitehead officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 28, 2006 at Red Top Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Happy Valley for the interment.
