Mark Myers, age 87, of Maryville, went home to be with the Lord March 14, 2017. He was Baptist by Faith. He was a Korean War Veteran. He retired from A.L.C.O.A. as an electrician, known as “Juicy” by co-workers. Preceded in death by: parents, Dan & Iva Sparks Myers (Cades Cove residents prior to the national park); wife, Barbara Law Myers; son, Terry Mark Myers; sisters, Mary Matlock, Clemmie Gregory, Nola Cummings, Velma Jones; brothers, Elmer Myers, Albert Myers, identical twin brother, Luke Myers and Bob Myers. Survivors include: daughter, Pat (Ervil) Martin; daughter-in-law, Brenda Myers; grandchildren, Missy (Brett) Baer, Jamey (Darla) Martin, Mindy (Will) Lunsford, Natalie (Brian) Gartman, Jason (Annatasia) Myers; great-grandchildren, Haley Baer, Brianna Martin, James Martin, Oliver Lunsford and Lydia Lunsford; step-great-grandson, Devan Russell; sister, Dixie (Max) Walker; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Myers and Phyllis Law; many nieces and nephews; special best friend, Ruth Garner. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM with Rev. Chad Riddle and Rev. Charles Murrell officiating.
