Marilee A. Foglesong

Marilee A. Foglesong age 73 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, A.A.U.W., volunteer with The Gate Program, member of Board of Directors with Friends of the Library, served 3 years as President of the Windsor Manor Association, Director of Young Adult Library for the City of New York, served as Director of the City of Philadelphia Library, and a graduate of Illinois State University and University of Illinois. Marilee helped in funding the building of an orphanage in Zimbabwe. Preceded in death by: Parents, Charles & Edna Foglesong; Lifelong friend, Anne Scoullar. Survivors include: Brother & Sister-in-law, Robert & Barbara Foglesong; Beloved Niece and Nephew, Dina & Darby Gibson; Great Nephews, Boone & Crocket Gibson; Beloved Cat, Blue; and an amazing number of friends. Memorial service will be at 3:30 PM, Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Fairview United Methodist Church with Dr. Jerry Russell and Priscilla Bryan officiating.
