Margie Hitson

Margie Carpenter Hitson 92, peacefully passed to her heavenly home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 26, 2018. Margie was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Hitson; parents, Edgar and Millie Carpenter; brother, Otis; sisters, Pauline Boring, Novella Hitson, Leona Hammontree, Vena Miller, Jean Atkins, and Ruby Burchfield. Survivors include daughters, Janice, husband Robert Gammon of OrLinda, TN, Pat Owens of Chatanooga, TN, Yvonne, husband Kyle Beaver of Maryville, TN; Grandchildren, Keith Gammon, Sherri Ferguson, Steven Gammon, Angie Owens; great-grandchildren, Katie, Ginia, Chelsea, Alex, Brett, Chase, Cooper; great-great-grandchildren, Graci, Gabi, and Dawson. Family would like to extend special thanks to her caregivers, both past and present for their exceptional care; Nan Scruggs, Becky McBrayer, Roxanne May, Jeannie Sparks, Ganna Kidd, Doris McNear.
