Margaret Stratton Waters

Margaret Stratton Waters of Louisville, TN passed away at home Friday, August 12, 2011. She belonged to Green Meadow Methodist Church and was retired after 40 years of teaching and librarian for Blount County School System. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Mull Watson; parents, Claude Sr. and Minnie Stratton; sister, Helen Webb; brothers, Claude, Bud, Joe, and Harry Stratton. Survived by son, Mike Waters; daughters and son-in-law, Melinda Presnell, and Teresa and Wade West; granddaughter, Courtney Davis; grandsons, Joey Davis and Andy and Patrick Mull; sisters and brother-in-law, Minnie Foster of Kingsport, Betty White of Alcoa, and Jane and Theron Burchfield of Maryville. A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Smith West Chapel. The family will receive friends starting at 1:30.
