Margaret Joyce Moore

Margaret J. Moore age 92 of Chattanooga, and a longtime resident of Walland, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at Chattanooga Hospice Care Center. She was a member of Walland United Methodist Church. Mrs. Moore served as a church secretary for many years. She enjoyed being outdoors, doing needlework and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by: Parents, George Valen & Verna Marion. Survivors include: Husband of 59 years, John Norman Moore; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Ann & Mike Walker of Chattanooga and Laura & Scott Addington of Hendersonville, NC; Granddaughter, Suzanne Collins & husband Josh of Chattanooga; Brother, Donald Marion of Bristol, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Walland United Methodist Church. Graveside service and interment will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Eldon Moore and Don Story officiating.
