Margaret Baylor Biddle went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at The Terrace at Mountain Creek, Chattanooga, TN, where she resided for the past seven years. Margaret was born May 9, 1921, in Springfield, Illinois and moved to Bean Station, TN when she was two. Preceded in death by: Parents, Rhoda Worthington Baylor and Thomas Baylor. She married Robert Claude Biddle in 1939 and they moved to Maryville, TN in 1945 where they lived until 1963 when they moved to Gainesville, GA. They retired and returned to Maryville, TN in 1996 where they lived until Claude’s death in 2003. Margaret was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Maryville. She is survived by daughters, Sandra B. Coope of Maryville and Claudia B. Lowe (Gordon) of Signal Mountain, TN; Grandsons, Michael Todd McInturff of Starksboro, Vermont and Christopher Baylor Lowe of Cumming, GA; Granddaughters, Casey Coope Chapman (Jeff) and Great-Granddaughter, Laurel Grace Chapman all of Harriman, TN. She is also survived by a much loved sister-in-law, Louise Biddle Estep of Oneida, TN. Margaret loved the Lord and her church was a very important part of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and faithful friend to all who knew her. The family deeply appreciates the loving care given Margaret by the Memory Garden Staff at The Terrace at Mountain Creek. They are Mona Smith, Amanda Yeargan, Hailey Yeargan, Sara Foster, Shea Ables, Tia Corey, Kathy Hitchcox, Brandi Nunley, Lindsey Rollins, Codi Connor, Jessica Hixson and Tina Scott. We also thank the nursing staff who are: Jennifer Willingham, D.O.N., Deborah Seaton, Ashley Seeger and Joy Heard. We thank the staff of Avalon Hospice for their loving care. They are: Margaret Grimsley, Kim Prigmore, Vicky Brady, Melissa LeCourse, Patricia Daniel and Vanessa Campbell. A special thank you to Brooke Horton and little Madison for their loving care. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel on Alcoa Highway with Dr. William E. Dudley, Senior Pastor of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM.
