Maggie Mae Gredig Huskey age 88 of Walland passed away peacefully Thursday, March 1, 2012 at her home. Maggie was a founding member of East Walland Baptist Church and was an active member there until her health no longer allowed her to attend. She worked for Alcoa Aluminum Company during World War II. She was a devoted wife and wonderful mother. Preceded in death by: Parents, Frank & Belle Gredig; Husband of 60 years, Sam Huskey; Son, Steve Huskey; Sisters, Helen McMahan, Ruth Cummings, Rozella McLemore, and Nellie Gredig. Survivors include: Children, Sam Huskey, David & Glyneva Huskey, Bill & Judy Huskey, Mary Huskey, and Patsy Huskey; Grandchildren, Mark & Sheila, Scott, Doug, Marshall, Jessie, and Shellie Huskey; Great-Grandchildren, Channing, Ryan Tyler, Kaylee, and Layla Huskey; Siblings, Abe Gredig, Carol Adkins, and Robert Gredig. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Mike Seagle officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 12:00 Noon, Monday, March 5, 2012 at East Walland Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
