Maetta Rose Conrad

Maetta Rose Conrad, age 75, of Maryville, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Maetta was born and raised in Massachusetts before moving to the Maryville area. She was a very active person, always on the go. She loved life, her family, and quilting. She was very proud to be a member of the local “Knit Wits” quilting club. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a true friend who will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Ricker and Norman Ricker. Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Morgan; Son and daughter-in-law, David and Rita Sawyer of Massachusetts and Maetta’s grandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew, and Chazz Sawyer; Brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Betty Ricker; several nieces, nephews, and other family also survive. A Celebration of Maetta’s Life will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the East Hall with Rev. Jeff Emerick officiating.
