Mabel Frye Webb

Mabel Frye Webb age 86 of Townsend died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Asbury Place. She was born in Cades Cove on June 10, 1925. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Webb; daughter, Dorothy Voellinger of New York; brothers, James and Kenneth Frye. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Chester and Terrie Webb of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and David Spalty of New York; brother and sister-in-law, Otha and Virginia Frye of Louisville; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Frye of Kentucky; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; special friends, Mabel and Harold Seabolt. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church in Townsend. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 983-1000.
