M. Caroline Murphy age 80 of Maryville passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at the family home. Caroline was from Maryland where she retired from the CIA. Preceded in death by: Son, Lawrence Murphy; Daughter-in-law, Michele La Course. Survivors include: Husband of 59 years, Jerry Murphy; Son, Cary Murphy; Daughter, Sharon Murphy; Grandson, Jake La Course; Brother, Edward Hurst; Sister, Nannette Wilson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, April 21, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Doug Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
