M. Lois Banton Teffeteller Hicks age 75 of Louisville passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 at the family home. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a charter member of Smokey Mountain ABWA (American Business Women’s Association). Preceded in death by: 2nd Husband, Paul K. Teffeteller. Survivors include: Husband, E. Ray Hicks; Daughter & Son-in-law, Christy & Larry Breedlove of Maryville; Son, Robert L. “Bubba�? Banton Jr. of Louisville; Grandchildren, Jessie B. McKenzie and Jake Breedlove; Great-Grandchildren, Cora Lee McKenzie and Reed Nehemiah McKenzie; Brother, William Earl Taylor & wife Helen; Step Children, Gary Hicks & wife Sandy of CT, Donna & Allen Hood of Louisville; several step-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Mike Parker officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 31, 2010 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel for the entombment. Memorial donations may be made to: New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund.
