Lynton Kelly “Cracker” Moffett, age 63 of Maryville passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at his home. Preceded in Death by his parents Earl and Evelyn Moffett, brother Scott Moffett. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Joy Bates Moffett; sons Kyle (Ciarra), Cody (Kayla), & Lynton Jr (Sarah); Grandchildren Eli, Harper & Kyleigh Moffett. Loyal fur baby Grace Kelly Moffett. Mother n law Mary Bates. Sisters Sandra Camp (Phillip), Sharon Jones (Steve), & Kim Burns (Kenny); Brothers Robert Moffett (Shelia) & Wayne Bates (Wanda). Many nieces and nephews. He left behind many friends.  Including his best friends Terry Bryant, Justin/JoeJoe Chambers, & Scott Phillips. Lynton loved working with his hands and was a Master Carpenter. He loved his family, friends & UT Football. Please join our family to celebrate his life on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Smith Hampton Hall from 12 noon until 2:00pm.
