Lynda G. Ellis

Lynda Gail Turpin (Nanoo) Ellis, age 70 of Alcoa, began her new life with Jesus Christ on November 13, 2012. She was of Christian Faith. Lynda was a very devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother. Her hobbies were flowers, thrift stores, & garage sales. She was also an avid animal lover. Preceded in death by: Parents, William Edgar & AnnaBelle Turpin; Brother, Jerry Clayton & wife Carmen Turpin; Infant Granddaughter, Summer Leeanna Ellis. Celebrating her life and left to cherish her memory: Loving Husband of 54 years, Charles David (Paw-Paw) Ellis; Children, David Loy & wife Kimberly Ellis, Daniel Clay (Casey) Ellis, Julie Anna Ellis, Joseph Eric & wife Belinda Ellis; Grandchildren, Cari Danyell Ellis McNelly & husband Seth McNelly, Eric & Alex Bell, Kendall & Karsyn Ellis; Great-Grandson, Ellis Reed McNelly and one more great-grandchild on the way; Nieces, Lisa & Jason Stephens, Elena & Rocky Shealy, Tiffany Turpin, and Michelle; several great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. R.M. Everett officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
