Lynda Adams Compton

Lynda Adams Compton, age 79 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday January 29th surrounded by a host of family.

Lynda was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church, where she served for many years as the piano player.

She was born January 29, 1946. Lynda loved her family and enjoyed telling stories of her childhood. She was strong in her faith and an encouragement to anyone she met.

Survivors include: husband of 59 years, Harold Compton; Son & Daughter-in-law, Andrew & Bobbie Compton Daughter & Son-in-law, Andrea Compton Ellis & John; Grandchildren, Michael Compton & Kim, Matthew Ellis, Miranda Dypolt & Logan; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Rylie & Georgia Dypolt. Sister & Brother-in-Law, Kathie & Don Manning.

Nephews, Scott Breeden & Karen, Joseph Nathan Manning & Marina, and Jimmie Adams & Jennifer Nieces, Lisa Vars and Staci Manning Davie... A host of beloved great-nephews & great nieces.

Family will receive friends on Friday, January 31st from 5:00PM to 6:00PM at Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 6:00PM with Reverend Shawn Breazeale and Reverend Rex Everett officiating.
