Lula Ellen Ramsey

Lula Gatlin Ramsey a lifelong resident of Alcoa passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Asbury Place of Maryville. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church since 1938 where she was a Sunday School Teacher and Bible School Teacher. She will always be loved and missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by: Husband, Otis Ramsey; Daughter, Emma Ruth Hunt; Son, Jimmy Lynn Ramsey; Parents, William & Martha Jones; all eight of her brothers and sisters. Survivors include: Son and Daughter-in-law, Kenny & Janice Ramsey of Walland; Daughter & Son-in-law, Judy & Roger Alexander of Maryville; Grandchildren, Roger & Stephen Ramsey of Walland, Christopher & Angela Brewer of Maryville, Kathy Martin of Abington, VA, David Ramsey and Eddie Ramsey both of Maryville; 17 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 23, 2007 in Smith West Chapel with Rev. Delbert Raines officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Clark's Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends form 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 23, 2007, Smith West Chapel.
