Luke Sparks

Luke Jackson Sparks, a former resident of Cades Cove, TN, born January 29, 1942, expired Friday afternoon at Kindred Transitional Health Care & Rehab. Mr. Sparks was preceded in death by parents Asa and Amy Burchfield Sparks. He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law; Leon and Johnnie Sparks of Townsend, Leslie and Annie Sue Sparks, Leland and Edna Sparks, Larry and Katie Sparks of Loudon, Lamon and Gail Sparks of Maryville. Sisters and brothers-in-law; Lenore Andes of Knoxville, Lennis and George Walvoort of Alcoa, Lucille and Bob Britton of Pigeon Forge, LaVerne and Bennie McCarter of Sevierville, Linda and Mike Denton of Knoxville, Lois Kaye and Charles Russell of Maryville, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the staff at Kindred Transitional for the many years of love and care given to Luke. Graveside service and interment will be at 2:30 pm Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. George Macht officiating.
