Lucille Violet Massengill age 100 passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Wadsworth Ohio at Magnolia Nursing Home. Lucille was born in Anderson County February, 11, 1911. Lucille’s home was Maryville Tennessee for many years. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church of Alcoa. Lucille loved the Lord and served him well and in many ways. She was a beautiful and loving person to her family, friends, and anyone that knew her. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Cora Hamilton, her husband Paris Massengill, granddaughter Janie Mitchell-Duvall, sister, Gladys Seeber, brothers, Jake, Cecil, Jim, and Claude Hamilton. She is survived by her daughter Marjorie Cox of Ohio, Granddaughters Patsy (Dennis) Watson and Brenda (John) Wirth of Ohio, Great Grandchildren Vonda (Danny) Paris, Vickie (Jon) Klutts, Brittany, Kayla and Cameron Wirth, Brad (Jolene) and Jimmy (Tel) Watson, Great- great grandmother of 10, sister Helen (Cap) Hatmaker of Michigan, brother Glenmore Hamilton of Clinton and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday April 15, 2001 at Smith Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Smith Funeral Chapel.
