Loyd Davis Keith

Loyd Davis Keith, our Sweet Daddy, age 88, of Alcoa, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He retired from the Tennessee Air National Guard after 40 years of devoted service to his country, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Loyd was also active in the Civil Air Patrol. His life-long passions were flying, restoring vintage WWII airplanes, and building race car engines. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 53 years, Betty Jean Keith and his mother, Lillie Francis Keith, and father, Jeffrey Davis Keith. Survivors include: son, David Keith of Nashville; daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Robby Baker of Gallatin; son, Larry Keith of Alcoa, daughter and son-in-law, Stacey & Matt Harbin of Maryville; grandchildren, Jason Keith, Emily Grace Baker, Macey Elizabeth Harbin, and Jude Matthew Harbin; sister, Betty Jean White of Amarillo, TX, and many special friends and neighbors. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM.
