Loyd David Buchanan

Loyd D. Buchanan passed away at the age of 90 on January 8, 2015. Loyd was a World War II Veteran who fought through the Normandy Invasion of Europe, Belgium, and Germany receiving five bronze stars for his service to his county. Preceded in death by: Grandson, Mark LeQuire; Daughter, Ruth Maxwell; Wife of 64 years, Iva Buchanan. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Gary & Corinna Buchanan; Son, Sandy Buchanan; Daughter, Rita Morton; Three Grandchildren; One Great-Grandchild. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 1:30 PM, Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Laurel Bank Church Cemetery.
