Louise Gordy Strange

Louise G. Strange, age 89 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Asbury Place Maryville. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville and a retiree of AT&T. Preceded in death by: Husband, James B. Strange; Parents, Odus Clemons Gordy & Maggie Pierce Gordy; Brother, Otis Clemons Gordy; Sister, Marguerite Gordy. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Margeret & Jim Smith of Murfreesboro; Niece, Nancy (Steve) Lauder of Atlanta; Friends whom she considered to be her extended family, Mack & Faye Brown, Doug & Gail Burns and her special caregiver Kim Sneed. Special thanks to the staff and management of Asbury Place and to the other caregivers from Asbury at Home who served her faithfully. Friends may call at their convenience after 10 am Thursday until 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 20, 2017 at Grandview Cemetery.
