Lottie J. Canada

Lottie J. (Miles) Canada 88 of Maryville passed away peacefully in her home Saturday and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 26, 2019. Born on January 14, 1931 in Kissimmee, Florida, she resided most of her life in Central Florida, before moving with her husband to Maryville, TN in 2015 to live with her daughter, Connie and son-in-law, Brian. She married her childhood sweetheart, Henry Canada in 1948, and the two shared a beautiful life together for 71 years. Mrs. Canada was a devout Christian believer who loved the Lord and her family. She was cherished by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time reading God’s word, listening to gospel music and loved horses. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Henry Canada; son Tim Canada (Fay), Kissimmee, FL; daughters, Bonnie Buyea (Steve), Orlando, FL, Connie Scoggins (Brian), Maryville, TN, Joy Rhoden (Bill), Mobile, AL; 14 grandchildren; 40 Great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great grandchildren. A funeral will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Victory Baptist Church, 1025 Montvale Rd. Maryville, TN. viewing at 11am, funeral at 12pm, followed by the interment at Grandview Cemetery.
