Lorraine L. Kling passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 12, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Kling. She is survived by her four daughters, Chris Guy of Maryland, Betty Whitehead of Tennessee, Teresa Mendez of Idaho, and Pam Jones of Tennessee; Grandchildren, Richard (Regina) Whitehead, Andrew (Lori) Guy, Kristin (Jamie Thompson) Guy, Michelle and Michael Mendez, Samantha Pike and Sabrina (Brad) Neumer. She had 9 great Grandchildren. Lorraine was born in Idaho on March 4, 1933 to Marie and Robert A. Eiman who preceded her in death. Lorraine married Richard L. Kling on May 27, 1950 and they lived in Pocatello, Idaho until 1976 when they moved to Boston. They retired to Maryville, TN in 1985 where Lorraine worked at the local Blount County Schools, worked as a caregiver for Extended Family Services for several years and was a “Pink Lady” volunteer at Blount Memorial Hospital for 20 + years. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Grandview Cemetery Pavilion from 10:00 until 11:00 AM with a Celebration of Lorraine’s life to follow at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blount Auxiliary in Lorraine’s honor.
