Lorena Kate Miller

Lorena Kate Brown Hicks Miller, 95, Maryville, passed away on October 18, 2018, at West Hills Health and Rehab, Knoxville. She was born on December 23, 1922, to Robert Houston and Etta Mae Brown in Blount County. She was a long time member of Monte Vista Baptist church. Preceded in death by: Husbands, Charles L. Hicks and Joe Miller; Siblings, Maybelle Brown, Flora Rowland, Georgia Cook and William Brown. She is survived by: Children, Eva Hicks Anderson (David), (Bob) Robert of Apison, (Hoppy) Randy (Judy) and (Turk) Dale Hicks; Grandchildren, Alicia Anderson (Rusty) of Atlanta, GA, Bart Anderson (Christine) of Seattle, WA, Leslie Hicks Kilgore (Justin) of Apison, and Laura Hicks Reagan (Chris) of Maryville; Great-Grandchildren, Blake & Kaleb Kilgore and Cash Reagan; Siblings, Barbara White (Ike) and Robert E. Brown; Special Nephew, David Cook; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to West Hills and UT Hospice for her care.
