Lonnie Junior Hannah

Lonnie Junior Hannah, age 85 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital.  Lonnie was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company and was a member of Beachgrove Baptist church.  He truly loved people and was the type that never met a stranger. He loved working on cars and was the proud owner of Hannah’s Wrecker Service.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.  Preceded in death by his wife Ruby Hannah; parents, Lonnie Sr. and Georgia Hannah; sons, Michael and Robert Hannah; grandson, Daniel Justin; Survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Franky and Paulette Hannah, Wayne Hannah, Timmy and Tammy Hannah; daughters and son-in-law, Jessica Rodriguez and Bonnie and Roger Thompson Sr.; grandchildren, Hannah and Jerry Conner, Monica Raper, Stephanie Amburn, Amanda Thompson, Tiffany Thompson, Ethan Hannah, Roger Dale Thompson; very special friend, Chris Daniel.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 4:00 until 6:00pm with a celebration of Lonnie’s life to follow at 6:00pm with Rev. Eugene Covington and family members officiating.  Family and friends will assemble at 1:00pm on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Grandview Cemetery for interment service and burial with Franky, Chris, Wayne, Jerry, Timmy, and Ken serving as pallbearers.
