Lois Amelia Salley

Lois Amelia Salley, 87, of Maryville, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ April 16, 2024.  She was born in Lincoln, NE on December 16, 1936 to Melvin and Bena Roberts. Lois loved birds, flowers, cooking and spending time with her family.   She enjoyed lunch with the ladies after church on Sunday.   Preceded in death by:  parents; husband, Randal; son, Jim; 5 of her 6 brothers. Lois is survived by:   children, Michael (Barbara) and Virginia; grandchildren, Amanda Small (Justin), Michaela Dodson (Cory), Jamie Salley, Kaitlyn Salley, Amelia Underwood (Tommy) & Valerie St. John; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Roberts & wife Patty of Idaho; lifelong best friend, Louise Bishop and special “kid” Becky Lee.  The family would like to thank special nurses Dee and Sheila on the 4^th floor at Blount Memorial Hospital for easing her transition and helping her on her journey to her heavenly home.  She will be missed.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Smith Trinity Chapel.  Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM with Rev. Ray Couey, Pastors Nick and Erin Ward officiating.
