Gene Lloyd Baker age 74 of Seymour passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by: Parents, John & Edna Baker; Brother, Johnny Baker; Son, Jeff Baker; Daughter, Essie Farley. Survivors include: Wife of 47 years, Ruby Baker; Sons, Cas Farley and Marty Farley; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Sherrie & Mario Cruz, Annette Baker, Evelyn Shoemaker, Louise & Jack Finger, and Dana & Mike Jones; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Brother, Archie Baker; Sisters, Norma Reagan, Evelyn Harrell, and Pat Williamson. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, June 27, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Brother Tim Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery.
