Lisa Renee Kerr

Lisa Renee Blackwell Kerr went to be with the Lord at the age of 62 on Friday, December 29, 2023. She was born January 30, 1961 to John Vernon and Doris Blackwell. She was a resident of Maryville, TN. Survived by husband, Stephen Patrick Kerr; her beloved dog, Sid; sister, Wendy Rumley; brother, Ricky Blackwell; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Frances Noel Staciokas; brother and sister-in-law, David and Jennifer Staciokas. Lisa was a deeply religious person and devoted to her family and friends. She attended Elon University, was an accomplished airline pilot (she was capable of tearing down and rebuilding a turbine engine), a gifted musician who loved to play the piano, and an amateur photographer. She was involved in animal rescue, supported several charities, and believed in helping others. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home. Her Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father McNielly officiating.
