Linda Kay Weemes

Linda Kay Weemes age 71 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was previously employed with Vanderbilt Mortgage for 10 years. After that, she was a full time caregiver for her husband for 15 years. Linda loved the UT Vols, her family, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by: Brother, Dennis Roushar; Sister, Merry Ann Ivey; Parents, Milvoy Frank Roushar & Wayzetta Miller. Survivors include: Husband of 52 years and best friend, Bobby Weemes; Son, Jimmy Weemes of Knoxville; Daughter & Son-in-law, Missi & Chris Seay of Knoxville; Grandchildren, Gabby Seay and Blake Holder; Sisters, Penny Jacob and Sharon McCartney both of Florida; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other family also survive.
