Linda Carol Simpson

Simpson, Linda Maples, age 71 of Seymour, passed away on October 19, 2024. Linda was a friend to everyone who knew her, always extending a helping hand. She loved driving through Cades Cove, crafting and, when she was able, cooking for friends and family. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Maples; and her husband, Steve M. Simpson. Survived by her brother, Gary (Sandy) Maples and family; nephew, Charlie (Erin) Myers and children. She will also be missed by longtime friends Jill Parks and Jackie Nichols. A special thank you to the staff of Westmoreland health and Rehab for their kindness and compassionate care. Per Linda’s request there will be no services.
