Linda Joanna Lambdin

Linda Joanna Lambdin, age 79 of Rockford, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, February 6, 2023 at home surrounded by family. She was a graduate of Hiwassee College and a 1965 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University. She taught elementary school and special education in Christiansburg, VA and Fredericksburg, VA. Linda was well known throughout the community for her talents as a seamstress, quilt maker and sculptor. She was, above all, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by father, James Ladell Price; mother, Reva Gladys Wicker Price; sisters, Nana Leadow, Joyce Yvonne, and Reva Cordiegene; brothers, James Thurlow, Ellis Franklin, Clarence Eugene, and Gerald Calvin. She is survived by her husband of 59-years, Paris L. Lambdin; daughter, Miranda L. Brackin and son-in-law, Greg; grandchildren, Darrell, Matthew, and LeAnna Brackin; son, Michael L. Lambdin and daughter-in-law, Teresa; grandchildren, Leslie, Megan, and Jesse Lambdin; sisters, Wilma Laroma and Alice Vivian, brothers, Don Edward and Amos Luther; many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Linda’s name. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Monday, February 13, 2023 at Central Point Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Chris Cupp and Pastor Greg Brackin officiating. Interment to follow at 3:00 PM at Central Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
