Linda Faye Hummel

Linda Carpenter Hummel, age 71, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her home in Knoxville. Linda grew up in Morristown and was retired from Kroger’s with over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Hummel, who brought much love and joy to her life and whom she lovingly took care of at home until his passing in 2015 of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s; her parents Albert and Ernestine (Spoon) Carpenter; brother Donald Carpenter and nephew Wesley Gardner. She is survived by her son Gary Clinton Livingston; grandsons Gary Clinton Livingston 2nd and Jesse Clinton Livingston; brother, Ronald Carpenter; sisters Judy Carpenter and Janet Long; nieces Lisa Ayala and Kimberly Collins; nephews Jeb Carpenter, Ben Gardner and John Evan Long. The Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Grandview Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
