Linda Gail Huff, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend to so many passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the age 72, after battling early dementia and liver disease. Born Dec 11th 1947 in Maryville TN to Joyce and Charles Dunlap, she was eventually joined by a brother, Jim. She graduated from Everett High School in 1965. As a teen, she worked at the Capital Theater, occasionally sneaking free soda and popcorn refills to her brother and his friends. She created lifelong friendships, forming bonds that lasted throughout her life. She later met, fell in love with, and married her husband Charlie Huff, raised 4 eternally grateful children, helped raise and spoiled 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She loved her family dearly, constantly encouraging, challenging, and when needed, fiercely protecting them. Linda was a strong, stubborn, sassy, kind, loving, goofy, and selfless woman, she offered her best to everyone without ever expecting anything in return. She impacted many lives just by being herself. She was so proud of all her kids and grandkids, always there to provide for them, and always offering a welcoming home to their friends, many who considered her like a second Mom. She was a hard worker, and she loved the Lord and her church. She loved mowing the lawn as long as she was able. She will be missed everyday by anyone whose life was touched by her. She is now pain free reunited with her loved ones gone before her. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Joyce Dunlap. She is survived by her husband Charles Huff; her brother Jim and his wife Deb; her daughter Gail; her sons, Brian and his wife Renae, Eddie and his wife Michelle, and Greg and his wife Jen; her grandchildren, Josh, Chris, Jesse and his wife Shelby, Tyler and Riley; her seven great-grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and so many others. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM with Rev. Tim Martin and Pastor Steve Riley officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Logan Chapel Church Cemetery.
