Lester E. Barker age 84 of Jefferson City, TN passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Jefferson City, TN. Lester served as minister of music at 1st Baptist Church in Corinth, KY, 1st Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN, 1st Baptist Church in Alexander City, AL, Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Shades Mountain Baptist Church, Mountain Brook Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL, Kirkwood Baptist Church in Kirkwood, MO, 1st Baptist Church in Mobile, AL and South Avondale Baptist in Birmingham, AL. Preceded in death by: Wife, Dorothy Jones Barker; Two Sisters and Four Brothers. Survivors include: Wife, Dorothy Snyder Barker; Son & Daughter-in-law, Charlie & Cindy Barker; Daughter, Minda Cedeno; Grandchildren, Corey, Katherine, and Margaret; Brother, Herbert Barker.
